RAMONA MENDOZA CRISTOBAL April 7, 1938 - May 14, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ramona Cristobal, with family and close friends by her side, at St. Boniface Hospital on Sunday, May 14, 2017. She leaves behind her sister, Azucena; brother, Isagani (Remy); nephews and nieces, Leovin (Marcie), Jason (Melanie), Hazelle (John Patrick), and Liezel (Mark); grandnephews and grandniece, Carson, Lucas, Jeannie, Arkiel, and Zyriel; close friends Felina and Rachel; goddaughter, Irene; many family friends; and relatives in the Philippines. She was predeceased by her father Leon; mother Maria; sister Herminia; brother Leonardo; brother Mario; brother Ernesto; brother-in-law Jovenaro. Ramona was born in Manila, Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1974. She was a very caring, generous, and unselfish woman who always put others before herself. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We love you, TITA! Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, May 19, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church on 748 Keewatin Street, Winnipeg, MB with Rev. Father Chris Dubois celebrant. Cremation has taken place. Interment in the Philippines will be at a later date.
