RUBY IDA (IRENE) CAVERS (nee ELLIOT) January 22, 1928 - May 22, 2017 Our dear mother, grandma, and great-grandma, Irene passed away peacefully in her residence, at Prairie View Lodge in Pilot Mound, at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas (1978), her sons Keith (1966) and Garnet (1971), also one granddaughter Sandra Cavers (1979). She leaves to mourn her passing her children Bob (Cory), Jim (Cheryl), Ray (Gaye), Millie Cavers and Marlene Goertzen (Brad), as well as 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and her sisters Margaret Sando, Florence Elliot and Rae Freeborn. Her family would like to thank all the staff at Prairie View Lodge for taking such good care of Mom and making her comfortable and cared for. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 26, 2017 at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Clearwater, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the Clearwater Cemetery following the service.
