Bill was born on April 4, 1928 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He married Livilia (Lil) Nawolski on July 18, 1953 and together they were both very active in their church, St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church. Bill is survived by a special friend, Jesse Haselham, two sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Lil (2004), his parents, his two brothers, two sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, and a nephew. A Celebration of Life was held on May 27 in Coquitlam, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, or The Cancer Foundation of Canada. Funeral Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Fr. Zachary Shwaluk, OSBM on Saturday, June 3 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
