RICHARD W. SUSZYNSKI
Born: Sep 23, 1945
Date of Passing: May 26, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD W. SUSZYNSKI September 23, 1945 - May 26, 2017 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Rick (Suszy). He left us suddenly, doing what he loved most, puttering in the yard on a sunny day. Rick leaves to mourn his loving wife of 32 years, Olga Strashok and her son Jamie Strashok. He will be missed by family, friends and his little dog Daphne, who was always by his side. Rick retired from a lifelong career at MTS and continued to enjoy life at his own pace. His love of tinkering and knowledge of all things made him the "handyman extraordinaire" to everyone. Rick put these skills to great use by assisting his brother-in-law, Peter Kurus, with his plumbing business. Rick was valued by the entire neighbourhood because he was always happy to lend a helping hand with any project big or small. Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave., on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rick's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Winnipeg Humane Society. "Goodbye to this kind and lovely man, who will now have an eternity to putter in God's Garden." www.voyagefuneralhome.com
