• Dearest Gary and family, I was totally speechless when I heard of Keira’s illness. I never knew your daughter, however no child should be taken away before the parents. There are no words for your loss, simply cherished memories to be shared and knowing Keira left her mark on those left behind. I read some passages and to those who knew her, she was a very special girl who left us way too soon. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Be strong. • I feel very privileged to have been asked to be part of 'Prayers For Keira'. I never met Keira, but was blessed to have understood something of her spirit from the many tributes from the time the Facebook group was started. She seems to have been someone who, in a very short time on earth, was made ready for heaven. I can only think that God knew she would be so powerful a prayer warrior in heaven for us that he wanted her with him. I never met this young person but she is the niece of my very good friend who mentioned her fondly over the years and especially during the last several months. • As a community we are all heartbroken that Keira lost her battle against cancer. I will forever treasure the memories of her visits to the farm to see my herd. She loved spending time with the horses and little Willy was Her favorite. Her affection for him was heartwarming. She was an angel on earth as she is now in heaven. • We will miss seeing Keira riding around the neighborhood with Grandpa Bond on his golf cart and planting garden with Grandma. We will miss her dropping in to visit and play with Max and Biscuit (our 2 little poodles). We will miss her scooting over with her brother and sister to offer us an ice-cream treat on a hot day. Even when Keira was ill she still greeted us with a smile. We are sad and heart broken and will hold Keira in our heart and memories forever.
