Jack was predeceased by his first son John Robert Snell in 1960, his first wife Margaret Joyce Snell in 1986, and his second wife Gladys Caspick Snell in 2009. He will be lovingly missed by his daughter Susan Snell (Bruce), son Mark Snell (Sandy) with grandchildren John and Caterina, stepdaughter Darcy Letendre (Rick) of Westbank, BC, and stepson Jason Caspick (Sheri) with grandchild Kylie of Richmond, BC, sister Helen MacDougall, and multiple other family members scattered across Canada. Jack spent the majority of his working career in the Canadian Armed Forces and retired as a Master Warrant Officer. As part of his military career, he and Joyce spent time in both Canada and Europe. Jack had many different duties as part of his military career, but mainly focused on technical and educational tracks. Upon ending his military career Jack and Joyce settled back in Winnipeg. After retirement and Joyce's passing ,Jack met Gladys and they spent many happy years wintering in Palmetto, Florida and Yuma, Arizona. There Jack enjoyed painting pictures, airbrushing figurines, fishing, boating, and visiting new places in his various motor homes. In his later years Jack moved to an apartment building where he made many new close friends that he valued greatly. A memorial luncheon in Jack's honour will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-956-2193 www.korbanchapel.com

I Would like to pass on my condolences to Jack's family. I had the honour of serving with Jack at both CFB Winnipeg and CFB Borden, ON. Jack was a good friend, college and boss. Rest in peace Jack. Edward J. Samson CD Warrant Officer, Retired. Actually I had two careers in the Canadian Forces, I retired the second time after serving as a Chaplain for six years, retiring as a Captain. Jack would probably get a kick if he had known that, Ed Samson the Padre. - Posted by: Ed Samson (Served with Jack in the Airforce.) on: Jun 28, 2017

Uncle Jack was always fun to be around whenever he visited. His sister, May (my Mom) adored her big brother and just lit up whenever he was around. Sorry for you loss Susan and Mark. - Posted by: Darlene Smith (Niece) on: Jun 28, 2017
