He passed away peacefully on the morning of July 3, 2017. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Bev; his children, Kent and Julie, Karla and Arno; and grandchildren, Mitchell, Kahlan, Connor, Gavin, McKenna and Mathias. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Evangeline (Lyle), Elaine, Charlie, Ruth and Bob (Leslie) from across Canada and the United States. My sincere condolences to you as you mourn the passing of Dan. My first thought when I heard of his passing was of the days at Manhatten when he kept pulling me up to try to water ski. I hold him responsible for finally teaching me. I remember at that time he was already at a point where you, Bev, were not too happy about him taking the boat out. So many memories of Danny in our youth and a little older. Twilight golf at Windsor Park Golf Course. Curling on Tuesdays and Saturdays and many other fun times together. I'm very sorry to hear of Danny's passing. He was a great guy. Our family loved him. His struggle is over and he now has peace.
