Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELLIE PATSON, PHD February 28, 1923 - June 30, 2017 Nellie Patson passed away at Holy Family Home on June 30, 2017. She is survived by her sisters Anne Maurice, Stella "Steffie" Patson, sister-in-law Lucy Patson, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Nellie was predeceased by her parents Mary and Michael Patson, brother W. Lorne, and sister Julia. She was born and raised in East Selkirk, received her first degree from the University of Manitoba and would go on to obtain her PhD at Columbus, Ohio. She taught both in Canada and abroad. Nellie was a long time member at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Parish on Grant Avenue, and served there as president of the UCWL. Funeral service is to be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, officiated by Rev. Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
