  • Mike was a gentle and kind man. His cooking was delicious and we waited in anticipation for his newest recipes to try. He was a mentor, a big brother and my "foster father" when I was a teenager. And he was under 25! His sisters, brothers and parents were also very kind to me too. I often think of them. My thoughts are with you all, to Doris and family. Bless you all Barb McKinney - Posted by: Barb McKinney (friend) on: Jul 14, 2017

  • Mike was a special person in my life as well as my daughter's. Playfully mischievous. It took me about twenty years before I caught on to his famous "Your zipper is open" when I looked down he would flick my nose with his finger. His calming personality was always welcomed. You were a great husband to Doris and a wonderful father to Michael. You will be missed my friend. - Posted by: Rachele (Friend) on: Jul 10, 2017
