Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALD (JERRY) LEFTROOK Peacefully on July 16, 2017 Dad passed away at the age of 81. Jerry will be missed by his four children, Lori (Paul), Brad, Sandra (Grant) and Leslie (Patrick). Also missed by grandchildren, Melissa (Julius) and Mathew, and great-granddaughter Asia. Jerry was predeceased by his loving life partner Eleanor. Jerry was born in East St. Paul and then moved to Winnipeg. He dabbled in numerous business ventures throughout his life and also worked in real estate and drove a taxi where he could be in contact with people. He was a handsome man and a snappy dresser with a sharp wit and worldly knowledge. Jerry had a love for cars, politics and was an avid sports fan, always cheering on the Bombers and the Jets. He had a soothing, sensitive inner-nature and always took the edge off any situation to smooth it for other family members. If you needed help in any way he was there. The family would like to thank the many caregivers and staff at Concordia Palliative Care unit who made his stay there more comfortable. I always enjoyed the times when Gerald and the family would visit. My Dad and him were very close. He used to tell the most interesting stories and made you feel that you were the most important person ,when he engaged you in a conversation. My sympathy at this time for the Family.
