KRISTAPHER RYAN
Born: May 26, 1959
Date of Passing: Jul 17, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKRISTAPHER (KRIS) RYAN (ROSE/ROSEMARIE PELLETIER/DAVIES/KOVAC) May 26, 1959 - July 17, 2017 Though she is resting in the arms of the angels, we cannot help but mourn the profound loss of an extraordinary woman whose smile could light up a room, a kind-hearted, genuine person who deeply touched the lives of so many. Kris was predeceased by her father, Phil Pelletier (2001), sister Colette, and brother Marcel. She leaves to mourn her loss - her mother, Maria Pelletier/Lepage; siblings, Michele Baril (Tom), Leo Pelletier (Barb), Susanne Pascal and Gerard Pelletier (Suzanne); her sons, Ryan Draho (Jen and daughters Thora and Kiana) and Christopher Draho (Katherine); the light of her life, granddaughter, Lily Grace Draho; her soulmate, partner and treasured friend, Rick Kovac; Suzan Bruneau (Perry) and Larry Draho; K.C.; extended family, colleagues and friends from St. Jean Baptiste, Gravelbourg, St. Boniface and Winnipeg. Kris (Rose) had a heart that could (and often did) embrace all of humanity. She lived and loved with great integrity, courage and compassion. She gave all she possibly could give to the beautiful boys she birthed into the world and leaves them, and so many of us, a legacy of countless blessings. A great woman is lost to us into the great mystery to which we all must pass. The gift of Kris will continue to grace our lives as we dwell with the memory of her and allow her life to speak to us, as we too, journey toward greater peace, freedom, and love. Flowers are gratefully declined; in lieu, please consider making a donation to the charity of your choice. A celebration of Kris's life will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the parish of St. Bernadette, 820 Cottonwood Rd. Too many stories to tell. So many people on the west coast are saddened by the news of Rosie's passing. There was a whole other life she left behind that never stopped loving her. They were the best stories ever. Rosie would be laughing out loud. God I miss you! xoxoxoxoxo - Posted by: Doug Daves (Former Husband) on: Aug 20, 2017

Hi Rosie: I have struggled to find the words. I have lost my Dad and Mom, a Nephew, a Grand Niece but I haven't lost someone who meant the world to my world. You gave me so many wonderful adventures and I will think about you everyday until I die. You also gave me the greatest gift of all; the courage to follow my dream. I have no words to describe how I am feeling...until today. These words are not my own but they are something special between us; and now we share them with the world. You gave me Rod McKuen; and together, you and he changed my life, and my life's direction and for that, the world is a better place and Thank You. These are for you. I lived just down the hall from Kris and had gotten to know her over the last three years. She was smart, funny and, best of all, she did not take any baloney from anyone, a quality I really admired. I am shocked and saddened by her sudden passing. My heart goes out to her friends and family. She was taken too soon.... I will remember her fondly. Courage to all those who loved her. - Posted by: Lou Lepine (Neighbour) on: Jul 26, 2017

I am very sadden to hear that she has passed away. The unfortunate accident happened underneath my office window and knowing that I share the same birthday with Kris and not knowing her, she will actually be remembered every year on my birthday now. My Aunt had worked with Kris and will be attending the service. I wish nothing but the best to the family. My heart goes out to all of you. - Posted by: J () on: Jul 25, 2017

I worked with Kris at DSM for the 4+ years I was there and fortunately got to see her just about every day. Always smiling and always willing to spend a moment to say hi. This is a tragic and heartbreaking loss to all who worked with her, and her family's loss, immeasurable. Thank-you Kris for the smiles, warmth and soft footprints you have left in the hearts of all who knew you. RIP - Posted by: Bill Keith (Colleague) on: Jul 22, 2017
