ALICE BOHN (née ALARIE) Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Portage District General Hospital on Monday, July 31, 2017, Mrs. Alice Bohn of Elie, Manitoba passed away at the age of 98 years. She is survived by her children, Beverly (Jim), Marlene (Garry), Wayne, Alan (Chrissy), Dennis and Ritchie (Tannis); 10 grandchildren, Brett (Stephanie), Susan, Colin (Lisa), Ashley (Dave), Whitney (Geoff), Hilary, Ethan, Jeremy (Heather), Ryan and Shelby (Tom); and four great-granddaughters, Jordynn (Brandon), Emily, Mila and Scarlett. She also leaves to mourn one brother Wilf Alarie; her sister-in-law Lillian Bohn; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Alice was predeceased by her husband Jack Bohn in 2008. Funeral services will be held in the Elie Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Prayers, eulogy and video tribute at 10:15 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Gerald Langevin officiating. Interment will take place after Mass at the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6. Good Morning Everyone: I have such fond memories of your Mom. She was always so welcoming and friendly to all of us when we would see her. |I always enjoyed a visit with her. My Mother always loved visiting with your Mom and she always spoke so highly of her. Your Mom taught so much love and kindness just by the way she treated us. I shall always remember her.
