JEAN LORRAINE GARDINER Jean Lorraine Gardiner died peacefully, surrounded by her family on August 2, 2017 at Rock Lake Personal Care Home in Pilot Mound, Manitoba at the age of 89. Jean was predeceased by her husband Stuart, and infant son Lindsay. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Laurel, Jane, Carol, Elaine, Jim and their families. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Rock Lake Pastoral Charge United Church in Crystal City, Manitoba at 3:00 p.m. Private interment will take place at the Clearwater Cemetery. Everyone is invited to the Clearwater Memorial Hall for a time of fellowship and refreshments immediately following the service. As per Jean's request, everyone is encouraged to wear bright colours to the service. Donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society; 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7, or to Doctors Without Borders; 720 Spadina Ave., Suite 402, Toronto, ON M5S 2T9.   • To The Gardiner Children: Another chapter in the Gardiner book has ended with your Mother's passing but her legacy and that of your Father as well live in you five siblings.
