  • Was thinking about my great friend Grant Keith and thought I would try the google and see if I could locate him and see if we could get together for a coffee. This obituary came up and I could not believe it. Thought it could not be my Grant Keith - Until I saw the smile and those front teeth. I am devastated. Grant and I were best of friends from the time we were 17 until about 21 meeting through volleyball and playing on the Manitoba games team together. Amazing time travelling to Montreal and Edmonton playing tournaments and fantastic what seemed to be endless summers playing volleyball in Claude's back yard and great parties with the St Vital people. Grant was a fantastic athlete with huge hops and a super fast arm swing. A great person who was always positive and fun loving. I can not believe this - I am in shock. Thank you Grant for your friendship, your humor and for being so amazing. Love you pal. - Posted by: Rodney Bolianaz (Close friend) on: Oct 12, 2021

  • Sorry to hear of my old'err former ski bud room mate and work mate. We shared one of Whistlers old original cabins with a lake in our front yard, volley ball court in the side yard and ski hill in the back yard, and a foose ball on our kitchen table. He was my wing man when it was time to stock up on firewood for the old cabin we shared in Whistler. We put in many afternoons of skiing together but seldom could I convince him to ski before noon, he loved his beauty sleep even tho I would always remind him "it ain't working bud you still look the same" He was a brother and a great friend and I often wish those times never passed. I had heard he was back in Winterpeg and would always ask his cousin Keith how he was doing and what he was doing. I knew Grant well and am glad he he found a special someone. Till the next time I try and get you up on a powder morning, Mr. Kieth - Posted by: Jamie Hoyle (Friend and room mate and work mate.) on: Nov 13, 2018

  • I'm saddened to hear of Grant's passing. I worked with Grant in Whistler, BC and we shared a chalet with other friends for a few years. He was a gem of a guy, had a heart of gold, a lust for life and a twinkle in his eye. I lost touch with Grant after moving back to Ontario but he always has stayed in my heart. RIP Grant! You were loved by many people! Glad to hear you were so loved by your caring partner, Valerie Carter and many other friends. PEACE TO YOU MY OLD FRIEND. Hope to see you one day on the other side. - Posted by: Tom Beckett (Old friend) on: Nov 13, 2018
