Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryERNEST ALBERT GIESE January 3, 1919 - August 16, 2017 Ernest passed away in Morris Hospital after a short illness. He is survived by his children: Marllene Klassen (Harold), Rod (Heather) and Daryl (Janet). He was blessed with a mostly healthy and long 98 years, and will be sadly missed by family and friends. His funeral will take place Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heritage Centre Common Room (14 Spruce Crescent. Rosenort, Manitoba). Private interment will take place following the service at the Morris Cemetery. The family wishes to extend thanks to the staff at Heritage Centre who helped look after Dad, as well as to the nurses, staff and Dr. Michael Fraser for the care they provided at Morris Hospital. We are so sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. He was a good man and a fantastic neighbour. We have many wonderful memories of the times we shared "across the fence".
