Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA MAY FRASER (née GAMBLE) Passed peacefully, August 23, 2017 in the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 87 years. May, beloved wife of the late Simon (Gus) Fraser and loving mother of Dawn (John), Scott (Kim) and Michele (Kurt). She will be lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren, Shawn, Megan, and Nicole. May was born December 2, 1929, the youngest of one brother, the late George Gamble and sister Margaret Veale. She met Gus, the love of her life, in Winnipeg and was married on November 8, 1952 in St. Patrick's Anglican Church. She and Gus worked hard raising three precocious kids, first in a small but loving home in St. Vital, then moving to North Kildonan where they remained for over 50 years. After Gus retired from Imperial Oil in 1982, he and May enjoyed traveling numerous times to their favourite destinations including Phoenix, Las Vegas, Palm Springs and Hawaii. After Gus' passing in 1996, after 43 wonderful years of life together, May continued to enjoy traveling with her kids and grandkids with trips to Florida, Hawaii and cruises to the Caribbean. Warmest thanks to staff at Deer Lodge Centre, Lodge 6 West.
