Born: Apr 17, 1962
Date of Passing: Sep 04, 2017
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD DEVLOO It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Richard Devloo, who passed away accidentally on September 4, 2017, at the age of 55 years. Richard leaves to mourn his passing his fiancée, Charlotte Adam; his children, Allana McNally, Mark Devloo (Cara) and Nicole Devloo (Ryan), stepchildren, Matthew, Neil, Karlee and Julie Vennard; his grandchildren, Garret, Eden and Madison; and his mother Edna Lawryniuk (née Lesage). He also leaves to mourn his siblings, Norma (Barry) Bentham, Gilbert (Kim) Devloo, Gerald (Heather) Devloo and Jared Devloo; also Charlotte's mother Mary Adam, and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Romeo Devloo, and by his stepfather John Lawryniuk. Richard was born April 17, 1962 in Treherne, Manitoba and grew up in Notre Dame and Winnipeg. He was a man of many talents, including entrepreneur, salesman, broker and mechanic. There wasn't a piece of equipment he couldn't operate, a vehicle he couldn't run or anything he couldn't fix. He had lots of tools that he put to good use. He loved living in the country and being around people young and old to share stories and making them laugh. He had many passions: he never passed a garage sale or auction sale without stopping; he enjoyed quadding, fishing, Belgian bowling, nature and recently developed a love for travel and discovering new places. He will be remembered for his big heart and willingness to lend a helping hand. He loved his family (especially the grandchildren), nieces and nephews, and will be remembered by his many friends. Funeral services will be held in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with Father Alain Guenou officiating. Interment will take place at the Glen Lawn Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Adam's Funeral Home of Notre Dame, Manitoba in care of arrangements. Phone 204-248-2201 or 1-888-400-2326. For information and condolences please visit: www.afh.ca
