MARCEL TELLIER On Friday, September 1, 2017, Marcel Tellier passed away at Actionmarguerite (Foyer Valade), at the age of 73 years. Marcel was predeceased by his father Maurice, mother Valerie (Labossiere), and sister Claire. He leaves behind his sons Roland (Kelly) and Joel; their mother Laurette and his wife of 30 years; grandsons Gavin and Ryder; sisters Yvonne, Marie (Fred) and Annet (Hanze); brothers Jean (Irene), Jules (Dolores), Arthur (Gwen), Guy (Yvette) and Rene (Julie); and numerous nieces and nephews. Marcel was born in St. Adolphe, MB in 1943. He raised his family and called St. Adolphe home for the majority of his life. He worked at the Victoria General Hospital and grain farmed in St. Adolphe for 30 years. Later in life Marcel and Laurette moved to Windsor Park in Winnipeg. Marcel was then employed at Ecole Lacerte in the DSFM School Division for over 10 years. Marcel retired in 2010 and enjoyed spending quality time with his family and travelling. Marcel's eyes would always light up when he saw his boys and grandsons. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St., Winnipeg, MB. A private family interment will follow at the St. Adolphe Parish Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Actionmarguerite - St. Vital for the care provided to Marcel.
