To son Butch and family. So sorry to hear of your loss. It’s never easy to lose a parent or family member. I found it very difficult losing both parents even though I tried to prepare for the inevitable. When my mom died, I still had my dad to lean on but when he died in 2009, I was surprised how difficult I found his passing. Hug your mom for us and count your blessings in that you have a large extended family; that’s what helped me although it takes time to grieve. Reading your dad’s obit sure brings back memories of our youth and the connection our family had thru hockey. For me, those were great years. Hopefully you have fond memories as well. All the best to you and your family. Hopefully we will cross paths again. Take care, John on behalf of brother Jim and I. - Posted by: John Lamarche (Childhood friend of family) on: Oct 28, 2017
