She will be missed and remembered by her children and families: Carlos Soares (Fatima), Jose Soares (Rosa), Jorge Soares - deceased, Maria Joao Dutra (Henry) and Eduarda Gil (Fernando), 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, four sisters and five brothers. Maria spent the last 10 years at Fred Douglas Lodge. We would like to thank all the staff for their care of Mom, a special thanks to Gina Walker for her help and support. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin St. N., Winnipeg, MB with Rev. Father Andre Lico celebrant, viewing at 9:00 a.m. Interment in Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Cemetery, 4387 Main St., West St. Paul, MB.
