Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCARMINE CICCOCIOPPO September 18, 1945 - October 3, 2017 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carmine Ciccocioppo on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Concordia Hospital at the age of 72 years. Carmine is survived by his wife Josephine; daughters, Anna-Lisa and Susan (Bobby); grandsons, Carter, Jack and Myles; sister Maria Paolucci (Gino); brother Tonino (Martha); and many beloved nephews and nieces, relatives, and friends in Canada and Italy. Carmine was born in Lanciano, Italy. He left to work in Germany in the mid 1960s and came to Canada in April 1967, 50 years ago. He married Josephine in May 1970 and they raised their family in Winnipeg. He had a lengthy career as a welder for Arne's Welding and Rakowski Cartage and Wrecking and owned his own welding and storage business until five years ago. His favourite activities included fishing and hunting and spending time with friends and family. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Robert G. Johnson, Concordia Hospital chaplains, Kathleen Rempel Boschman and Lori Jorgenson and the staff of Concordia Hospital N3 West and N1 North for their care and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue, with Father Sam Argenziano presiding. Condolences will begin at 10:00 a.m. The mass will be followed by a reception in the church hall, with entombment afterward at Holy Angel Mausoleum, located at Green Acres Cemetery on Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road. Pallbearers will be Jeff Di Nella, Tony Di Nella, Adam Paolucci, Gian Paolucci, Marcello Paolucci, and Peter Paolucci.
