NORA MURPHY Nora Murphy passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Mary Murphy. She is survived by cousins in the United Kingdom: Martha (first cousin), Jennifer, Stephanie, Betty and John (second cousins). Nora worked at Manitoba Hydro for many years and enjoyed several trips with a Hydro group. These trips led to many others worldwide, as Nora was always ready for a new adventure. A lover of dogs - Ming and Togo kept her busy, in later years, her dogs provided many comforting memories. Nora enjoyed her cottage at Grand Marais, the cottage was built by her dad. She was a great reader and her wide collection of books gave her many hours of enjoyment. We will remember Nora as a good friend, a kind and generous person and fun-loving. She will be missed. A graveside internment will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. in St Vital Cemetery. E.J. Coutu & Co. Funeral Directors 204-253-5086
