Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Comare Maria was the salt of the earth. A very kind lady indeed who welcomed my family to the neighbourhood with open arms. She was always there for my mother after my father’s passing, as a sister, mother and true friend. Our families often joked and nicknamed the two ladies as “Thelma & Louise”. They have had a special bond that spans the years, through laughter, worry, smiles, and tears. She will be missed. Riposa in pace! - Posted by: Stella Cianflone (Family friend ) on: Aug 17, 2022

  • Compare Tony and my father Frank were neighbors and grew up together in Miglierina, Italy. They immigrated to Canada together at about the same time where my parents shared a life long close relationship with compare Tony and comare Maria. Whenever i saw him he gave me a little nod and smile knowing I was Cicco's son and i will always remember that!! Cindy, Allee and I send our sincere Condolences to comare Maria, Phyllis, Cathy, Joe, and family. - Posted by: Dominic Bruni (family friend) on: Oct 28, 2017

  • Compare Tony was a very kind man with big heart! Although he wasn't a man of many words his one-liners were the best and often left my family laughing for days. He was a great neighbor, loving husband to Comare Maria and amazing father and grandfather who would do anything for his family and friends. He will be missed. To the Cappello family, take comfort in knowing that that no matter where he is, he will always be with you forever. Stella & Gerald - Posted by: Stella Cianflone (Family friend) on: Oct 26, 2017

  • My deepest condolences on your loss! He will be remembered as a loving father and husband and a friend to many people. My thoughts and prayers are with you all! - Posted by: Maria D’amico (Friend) on: Oct 26, 2017
