EDWARD HOLMES MASH March 22, 1937 - October 27, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Holmes Mash. Ed was born in Ottawa to John and Ada Mash. He was predeceased by his brothers, Ernie, Gordon, John, and nephew Gregory. Ed will be deeply missed by his children Charlene Mash-Hadlow (Terry), Jennifer and John Mash (Tarran). Papa, as he was known to all of his grandchildren, will be greatly missed by Carter, Morgan, Keely, Connor, Emery and Maria, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Ed will be remembered for treating everyone he met with kindness, taking the time to get to know people while at the same time discussing the truly great and interesting things of this world. An intellect, he had a passion for the sciences, classical music, astronomy, history, chess and learning. Nothing made Ed more proud or gave him more joy than to see his children and grandchildren learn and succeed through hard work and determination. Ed's family will forever miss his gentle strength, tremendous warmth, beautiful sense of humour and inquisitive spark.
