ELLEN PHOEBE LUCYK May 12, 1925 - November 3, 2017 Peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2017, at Simkin Centre, Ellen Phoebe Lucyk, widow of the late Jim Lucyk, passed away at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her late husband Jim in 2008, her brother Raymond in 2014, and brother Arthur in 1970. Surviving are her dear sister-in-law Yvette Evans, her nephews Neil Havers (Lynne) and family, Darryl Havers (Lori), and niece Jackie Saurette (Rob) and family. Ellen was a member of the Morris United Church and was an avid golfer during the summer and curler during the winter. Ellen and her late husband enjoyed many years wintering in Arizona. Special thanks to the Simkin Centre for the wonderful care while Ellen resided there from January 2016 - November 2017. Many special thanks to Doreen Barre for her being an outstanding neighbour and special friend. Also many thanks to Ron and Ronda Eros for all of their loving care and consistent visits with Ellen. Ellen appreciated the time they shared. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. from the Morris United Church. Interment to follow in the Morris Cemetery.
