MARIA CONCEICAO MEDEIROS August 1, 1930 November 10, 2017 It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, on November 10, 2017, aged 87 years. Maria passed away at Deer Lodge Centre, with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Maxeminio Medeiros. She will be dearly missed. Now you are in heaven with Dad. She is survived by her daughter Maria (Eddy) Melo and her son Durval (Brenda) Medeiros; grandchildren, Tracy (Marcus), Danny (Tia), Adam and Matthew Melo; and great-grandchildren, Natalia, Alexander, Ethan, Nicholas and Katrina, and numerous family and friends. Maria was born in Sao Miguel Acores Portugal. On August 1, 1930, she immigrated to Canada in 1965, with her family. For those who knew our mom, she has always been caring, and full of love and devotion for her children and grandchildren and great-grand-children. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Deer Lodge Centre 6 West/ East for taking care of our mom through the years. We would also love to thank everyone for all your heart warming thoughts and prayers. Prayers will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin St. N., Winnipeg, MB, on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Parish, with Rev. Father Tiago Coloni celebrant, interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, MB. Reception to follow at Mosaic Funeral Home, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Pallbearers: Orlando Medeiros, Eduardo Medeiros, Danny Medeiros, Adam Melo, Everette Medeiros, Manny Raposo.
