Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN CHARLES HAMILTON It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of John Hamilton on November 12, 2017 at the age of 72 years. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Paulette and their children, Danielle (Ian) and Stéphanie (Alexandre). John will be also be fondly remembered by his sister Betty Lou (Trevor) Jensen of Calgary, Amber and Michael Jensen, and by brother Rodger (Nola) Hamilton of Williams Lake. John will also be remembered by his sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends. John grew up in Flin Flon, Manitoba and always kept in touch with many childhood friends. He received his commission as a Manitoba Land Surveyor in 1978 and worked in the Manitoba Hydro Property Dept. for many years. John was known for his kind, generous nature and his witty sense of humour. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street, Winnipeg. Fondly remembered. I still see Benny's smiling face at the door of 256 Whitney, coming for a visit. His smile, raised eyebrows and wonderful chuckle and sense of humour will be remembered.
