JED REMILLARD-ELIUK It is with heavy hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Jed Remillard-Eliuk on November 12, 2017, in Winnipeg, at the age of 23. Jed leaves to mourn his parents Bob and Lynda Eliuk, his brother Jason (Miranda), grandmother Florence Remillard, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Robert Remillard, and Mary and Walter Eliuk. From day one, Jed made his presence known. He had only to walk into the room for you to know he was there. Jed was fun-loving, carefree, and mischievous - he had a memorable one-of-a-kind personality. He always had a smile and good word for everyone. When he was around, he made everyone's day better. Adventurous, fearless and energetic - that was Jed. He loved hiking and fishing with his brother Jason. Jed lived every day in his short life to the fullest, determined to go full speed into whatever he did. He loved to travel, and recently took a solo trip to South America to visit a friend. Jed made many dear and lifelong friends while attending high school at Fort Richmond Collegiate, where he excelled in volleyball and basketball. When Jed set his mind to something, he was very determined to succeed. Jed was employed in Western Canada's oilfields where he was working towards getting certification as a pipefitter. Jed was loved by many and he will be missed by many. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service celebrating Jed's life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church, 1311 Dakota Street at Southglen. E.J. COUTU & CO.
