JOHN LLOYD DAVIS Following a brief hospitalization, John passed away on November 8, 2017 in the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 78 years. John will be missed by his partner Diane Wilshire; son Warren Davis; daughter Jan (Davis) Erb, Jan's husband Rolond; and their children Jenna, Logan, and Zach. He also leaves his sisters-in-law Janet and Pam Davis; niece Heather (Davis) Osbourne, Heather's husband Ted and their daughter Julianne; nephew Jeff Davis, Jeff's wife Jennifer and their daughters Maddy and Amelia as well as John's cousins and his friends. He was predeceased by his father John (Jack) Lewis Davis; mother Evelyn (Doris) Davis, and brother Richard (Rick) Davis. John was born on February 27, 1939 in Winnipeg. He graduated from Gordon Bell High School then pursued a career with the CIBC. John was a friendly and outgoing person. He enjoyed golfing, curling and bowling. He painted with oils as a young man, was interested in photography, videography, and played the accordion. John was proud of his children and enjoyed attending his daughter's nursing graduation and wedding. He loved to spend time with his grand kids. John and his son Warren shared an interest in music. They traveled to Craven Country Music Festival and attended many concerts together over the years.
