MARIA ATIENZA VDA DE MAGNAYE May 11, 1923 - December 7, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 94. Maria was predeceased by her husband Pedro Magnaye; children, Constancia Magnaye, Virgilio Magnaye, Nicanora Magnaye, Jhun Magnaye, Mario Magnaye and her sister Juana Abrenica. She leaves behind her children, Carmen (Roger), Louis (Irene), Antonio and Susan (Rodolfo Jr.), she will be dearly missed by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Maples Personal Care Home and Seven Oaks General Hospital for their care and time for Maria. Lamay/Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., commencing at 6:00 p.m. Prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Msgr. Enrique Samson Jr. officiating. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St. Winnipeg, MB. Msgr. Enrique Samson Jr. celebrant. Interment will take place following the mass at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, MB. A reception for family and friends will be held at Mosaic Reception Centre, 1839 Inkster Blvd. following the interment.
