JOHN BRIAN TRIGGS August 16, 1944 - December 18, 2017 It is with tremendous sadness and heavy hearts that I announce the passing of my beloved husband and best friend John Brian Triggs on December 18, 2017. John was predeceased by his parents John and Emily Triggs, sister Barbara and husband Roy Lilley and grandchildren Hope and Gabriel Triggs. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Theresa, and his children, Chris Triggs (Sara), Jeff Triggs (Shannon), and Jennifer Triggs (Danny) and the children's mother Diane Domes; and his eight grandchildren, Jessica, Caden, Carson, Taliah, Sophia, Melanie, Laura and Owen. He is also survived by his sister Sue Hughes (Les); nephews, Greg Sweet Hughes (Zoe), Tony Bird (Susi) Dave Bird (Jenny) from England and Alex Schoen of Winnipeg; nieces, Natalie Wright (Darren) of England and Lauren Schoen of Toronto. John was born in Middlesex, England and moved to Canada when he was 22 years old. John was an avid runner and loved working out and keeping fit. He loved gardening and his doggie boyz Miko and Milo. He loved to fix things and was always improving himself and his home. John was a gentleman, a kind and gentle soul who was liked by everyone he met. He loved his grandchildren dearly and enjoyed travelling with his wife and sisters from England. To celebrate John's life a service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Atlantic Garden City United Church, 725 Atlantic Avenue, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Atlantic Garden City Memorial fund.
