WAYNE GORDON FAIRES 1944 2017 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Wayne, on December 18, 2017 at the Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance, Edinburg, Texas, with his son Kristopher by his side. Wayne married the love of his life Karen (Bragnalo) in 1982. Together they made their home in Lockport where they successfully opened Lockport Grocery. Later in life, their second home became McAllen, Texas. Wayne had a fondness for old classic cars and all that went into building them. He was a great ambassador for Lockport business groups and the Children's Festival. He was predeceased by his wife Karen in 2011 and will be sadly missed by his four children, Kristopher, Ashley, Roxanne, Michael and his sister Cheryl (Barry) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, Manitoba. WAYNE GORDON FAIRES On Monday, December 18, 2017, in Edinburg, Texas, Wayne Faires, aged 73 years, of Lockport, MB, husband of the late Karen, passed away. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB.
