ROSE ADELINE BURACK (nee PANTELUK) Peacefully on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Holy Family Home in Winnipeg, Rose Burack, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 90. Rose was born in Meleb, Manitoba, December 31, 1927 to the family of Michael and Tina Panteluk. Rose married Steve Burack June 7, 1947. Left to mourn her passing are her children Doug (Arlene), Dianne (Michael) and Donna (Brent), and her loving granddaughters Angela (Alana), Lauren (Mike), Kaitlin (Landon) and Victoria. She is also survived by her brother Alex, sisters Marie, Betty, Jean (Elmer), Helen (Paul), Angie, and numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her husband Steve (1991), son-in-law Harold, brothers John, Tony, Bill, and sister Kay. Mom moved to Winnipeg and began her career managing a household for a prominent doctor in River Heights. The pride she took in her work continued throughout her lifetime. All who knew Mom, knew she was the greatest cook and her recipes will be continued on through her children and grandchildren. She was meticulous in everything she did and her memory was impeccable. She was our "go-to" person. Her love, warmth and generosity was felt by all. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A private family interment to be held at a later date. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Dr. Andrea Babick and the staff at Holy Family Home for their excellent care and compassion.
