WENDY DIANE CHERNEY (COWLEY) It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Wendy on December 27, 2017. Wendy was born on July 25, 1963 to Gerda and Earl Cowley. She lived her early years in Winnipeg, before moving to Saskatoon to raise her family, she then returned to Winnipeg and Grand Marais the last few years. From her beginnings on Vimy Road to her final stay on South Padre Island, Wendy was always smiling. She loved a good joke, especially if it was her own, a clean house, spotless windows, good music, dancing, the beach and great company. She was the life of any gathering. Wendy leaves behind the loves of her life, Michael Anderson, and her two sons, Nicholas Cherney (Jasmyne Bahr) and Colin Cherney (Kim Robbins). She also leaves Auntie Ruth van Gestel, her sisters, Karen (Rolf Zimmer, and their children, Allison (Connor), Austin (Lizzy)), Leslie (Bill Nichol) and Lynn (Bob Stokotelny), Mike's children, Chad, Haley (Matt) and Carly, Mike's mom, Irene, and Mike's brother Paul (Carol). Also missing Wendy are extended family and many friends in Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and Grand Marais. She will be especially missed by her bff, Bernie. In keeping with Wendy's wishes, there will not be a service. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, donations may be made to a charity of choice. Those who are able are encouraged to donate blood. INTEGRITY Cremation & Funeral Planning 204 295 5408 -- IntegrityDeathCare.com
