Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOLORES MARIE ANNE GIBBONS (ROUSSEAU) It is with great sadness that the family of Dolores (Dolly) Gibbons announces her passing on January 2, 2018 in Winnipeg at the age of 89. She is survived by her partner and "honey" of 31 years Steve Kiz; and her daughters, D'Arcy Hedley, Gwen (Bob) Watson; and son Keith (Patti) Gibbons and her daughters, Lauren, Keagan and Niki; grandchildren, Mark (Jeannette) Watson, Melissa (Scott) Pierce; and great-grandchildren, Owen, Ethan, Christine, and Kayla. Mom was a very strong and private woman who faced her challenges head on. She was very proud of her French Canadian heritage and we will miss her many traditions. Mom's early career started at Eaton's, Contessa Ladies Wear then back to Eaton's where she met many wonderful lifelong friends. It was here that she met the love of her life Steve Kiz and they celebrated their 31st anniversary this December 31. The family will be forever indebted to Steve for all of his love and support for Mom. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of ones choice if you wish. Au revoir Memere repose en paix. E. J. Steve, please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of Delores. I have many fond memories of working with both you and Delores and know you were a truly fine couple.
