PURIFICACION VERGEL January 31, 1922 January 14, 2018 Peacefully, on January 14, 2018, at home surrounded by family, Purificacion Vergel, aged 95 years, passed away. Purificacion was predeceased by her husband Antonio Vergel, Sr. and her six siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Reny (Nene), Tony/Jun (Cristy), Mila Alberto (Eddie, dec.), Terry Razon (Chito), of Texas, Oyie Zarco (Mateo), of Philippines, Tom (Remy), Maria/Lot Bataller (Jim) and Nesty (Grace); 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. We the family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff of the WRHA Home Care Program and the WRHA Community Palliative Care Program for all of their compassion and care extended to our family. Viewing/Lamay will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 commencing at 6:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church, 836 Arlington St., Winnipeg, MB, Rev. Father Rainerio Sarce celebrant. Interment will take place following the mass at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB. A reception for family and friends will be held at PCCM, 737 Keewatin St., Winnipeg, MB.
