THERESE GROUETTE (née NEAULT) It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our mom at the Ste. Anne Hospital on Saturday, January 20, 2018, surrounded by family, at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her children, Roger (Jeannette), Lucille (Al) Audette and Irma (Claude) Legal. Mémère will be missed by seven grandchildren and their spouses, 18 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Lucienne Lepine, Adrienne Moreau, Juliette Comeau, and sister-in-law Thérèse Nault. She will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by husband Wilfrid; both parents; two brothers; one sister and all of her in-laws. Mom was a resident of Villa Youville for 35 years; she enjoyed spending time with friends, especially the Villa north end "gang" (thank you guys). Thank you to the special angels of the Villa, Sister Irene Rioux and Sister Celine Vermette for their support and compassion. The family would also like to thank the staff of Ste. Anne Hospital and Dr. A Bissonnette for their excellent care. A special thank you also to Lorraine Gauthier for her many years of looking out for Mom. In keeping with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 26 at 2:00 p.m. in Sainte Anne Roman Catholic Church, 162 Central Avenue, Ste. Anne, MB, with Father René Chartier officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Thérèse may be made to a charity of your choice.
