Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory(GEORGE) LORNE LEWIS October 15, 1925 January 16, 2018 After a long and full life, Lorne Lewis passed away January 16, 2018 at the Morris General Hospital at the age of 92 years. Lorne is survived by his wife Jean; two daughters and two sons; Peggy (Norm Dyck), David (Wendy Buelow), Jack (Rosemarie Sing) and Kathy; grandchildren, Iris and Audrey Dyck, Clara and Erin Buelow, Emma and Liam Lewis-Sing, Eric and Sonja Schlange; one great-grandchild Sam Schlange; one sister Kathleen and several nieces and nephews. Lorne was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Lillian Lewis; siblings, Robert and Josephine. Lorne enjoyed singing in the Morris United Church Choir and other community choirs. He loved skiing in his early years and enjoyed curling thereafter. The Funeral Service for Lorne will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Morris United Church. Inurnment will take place prior to the funeral at the Morris Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Pastor Leslie Poulin and Dr. Manness and the caring staff at the Morris General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lorne may be made to the Morris United Church Memorial Fund and/or the Manitoba Arthritis Society.
