Ron was one of the most memorable characters any person could meet. To have him in our lives we were truly blessed. I can see his big smile whenever I think of him. I always made a point of seeing Ron whenever I went down to the beach. We saw Ron last summer in Pine Falls hospital and as usual he had us all laughing and enjoying life. That’s the way Ron lived. He truly enjoyed life and it rubbed off on all those around him. I wish we could have kept him forever. I will miss you Ron. Love you man. Uncle Ron you were such a funny man and I loved to help you when I was just a teenager in Selkirk when you had Ron's Re-Upholstery Shop on Main St. I would go there after school, more so to hang out and listen to the funny stories you would tell me and make me laugh. I will forever miss ya Uncle...RIP and say hi to my Dad and all the Aunts and Uncles that have passed already. Thanks for serving for our Country you are our HERO. I am so sorry to read of Ron's passing. He was truly a real gem. When I owned the Petro-Canada in Selkirk Ron delivered firewood and I really enjoyed him. He was a true gentleman with a wonderful sense of humour. My deepest condolences to the family. - Posted by: Louise Bloomfield (Friend) on: Feb 03, 2018
