Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA GOSHLAK February 2, 1925 February 1, 2018 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Olga on February 1, 2018 at the Seven Oaks Hospital after a brief illness. She is survived by her sister Helen; niece Helen Leswick; nephew Dennis (Rosalie) Leswick of Mississauga, Ontario and their children, Michael (Elizabeth) and family; Harrison, Abigail and Olivia; Dr. David (Dr. Karen Mohr) of Saskatoon and their children, Julia and Daniel; nephew George (Linda) Hayes and numerous cousins. She is predeceased by siblings, Julia Leswick, William, Walter, Mary Hayes and Theodore (in infancy). Olga was born in Winnipeg and attended St. Nicholas School, King Edward and Isaac Newton High. She was active in sports, particularly in basketball for a number of years, followed by enjoying her membership at the Pine Ridge Golf Club for many years. She was an ardent "spectator sports" fan of a wide range of sports. Olga had a high interest in classical music and was involved in choral work for a major part of her life, most notably with the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church and the O Koshetz choirs. She was a lifelong member of the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church and actively participated in its many activities. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Avenue, Winnipeg. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
