GAIL PATRICIA OVERGAARD (nee INMAN) / (OUELLETTE/GRAY) 1944 - 2018 Gail was born and educated in East Kildonan as well as on the family farm at Stonewall, Manitoba. In the fall of 1965, she met the love of her life, Paul Overgaard and they were married in the Anglican church in Stonewall in June 1966. They lived at the Seaplane Base at Lac du Bonnet and one year later transferred to the Seaplane Base at Grace Lake (The Pas) where they lived until 1968 when they were transferred to Dauphin. Gail worked in the MTS Commercial Office in The Pas and Dauphin and then worked at the Bank of Montreal and Royal Bank. She became a staff person for the Canadian Cancer Society and the Canadian Red Cross before moving to the Finance Office at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre. Gail then went into various business ventures for herself and became the President of the Dauphin Chamber of Commerce and the Vice President of the Manitoba Chamber. In 1996, she and Paul started their own company in wireless technology which still operates today. Her son David was born in 1970 and her daughter Karin in 1971, both of whom survive her. She is also survived by her husband Paul and grandson Michael. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place; a private family service was held. She was a mover and a shaker, yet caring and loving. We will miss her. All our Love Paul, David, Karin, Michael; brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. May she rest in peace. Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Upon me finishing up my term as Chamber president, Gail gave to me a beautiful bowl of silk flowers, which every year I wash up and think of her. I also recall being at a cam AGM and one of the little ones touch her leg and she jumped, from being startled but the funny part was she let out a little scream “ oh!” - Posted by: Michelle Kaminski (Friend/ college at Chambers of Commerce) on: May 14, 2018
