Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN (KAL) MARY KNEESHAW (nee WOODS) November 9, 1928 - February 5, 2018 Peacefully at the age of 89 years, with her family by her side, Kal was carried home to be reunited with her loving husband Raymond. Born and raised in Beulah, Manitoba, Kal moved to Winnipeg and married Ray in 1952. In addition to periodically working outside of the home, Kal dedicated her life to her family and her community. Of special importance to her was her church work and family at Windsor Park United. She lived her life with grace and dignity, goodness and kindness and left a lasting impression with whomever she encountered. Kal will be greatly missed by her children, Gillmor and wife Lucie, Ken and his wife Barbara, Margaret and her husband Leo, Kathleen and her husband David. She will also be missed by the grandchildren, she loved so dearly, Paul (Kirsten), Ashlee (Corey), Hannah, Thomas, Matthew and Allison; her loving sister Cathy Owens and her husband Ken; Lucie's sons, Justin and Jude and their children, Saidee, Noah and Kendra; Amia Weselake who called Kal Grandma, and many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. Kal was predeceased by her husband Ray; parents, Eleanor and Gillmor Woods; sister Peggy Smith and husband Dick; brother Jack Woods; Raymond's parents, Ethel and Mel Kneeshaw; and sister-in-law Audrey Palmer and husband Jack. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R2J 1C7. A private family interment will follow at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff on 3E of Riverview Health Centre and the Palliative and Home Care support at Riverside Lions.
