WALTER GEORGE SENYK January 21, 1932 February 2, 2018 Walter George Senyk passed away peacefully on February 2, 2018. He was predeceased by his cherished wife Anne, his parents John and Katherine, brother Peter, and sister Annie. Walter will be greatly missed by his loving sister Isabel (John) and numerous nieces and nephews. Walter had a long career at CN as a locomotive engineer spanning from 1957 to 1993, which he just loved. Walter spent a great deal of his time at his cottage at Sherwood Lake, boating and being an avid gardener. A celebration of Walter's life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. It’s a sad day to learn this so much later in life.. he was the uncle I knew that took me to the lake with my Great Auntie Ann he took care of us all.. He was a kind, caring and Generous man.. I was too young to understand what he helped give me as a positive reinforcement of being a good boy and to become a better man. I Cherish the memories of going to Green lake that was a bit of a hike from Sherwood lake to fish with my cousins Scott and Kim.
