Thank you Frank & Davilyn for those kind words. I remember Vic (Papa) speaking highly of the W.W. II crew he kept in touch with and he did in deed mention Frank. Evelyn (Gram) was in the personal care home in Shoal Lake leading up to her passing. There were so many great memories. Thank you for your sympathy. My father and I were saddened to hear of your Mother's death. We hope her last years were good ones and that her end was peaceful. We kept in touch with your Mom by telephone, but then her number was gone and we suspected she had moved back out into the countryside. I remember meeting one of you, and I am so sorry I cannot remember your name, when I drove my Dad out to Shoal Lake to visit your Mom and Dad shortly before your Dad died. I had heard about them all my life, so it was a delight to meet them in person, enjoy your Mother's wonderful hospitality and meet a daughter! I was just in San Diego with Dad, who is nearing 97, and he asked me again if I had found your mother, he remembers her well. We are so sorry for your loss and hope that your memories sustain you as the years go by. With great sympathy, Frank Dembinsky & Davilyn Eyolfson. - Posted by: Frank Dembinsky & Davilyn Eyolfson (W.W.II Friend with Vic Gordon) on: Feb 12, 2018
