KASIA CHARLINE MARIE BADIOU
Date of Passing: Feb 09, 2018
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKASIA CHARLINE MARIE BADIOU It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Kasia Badiou, on February 9, 2018 at the age of 17 years. Kasia will be forever missed by her parents Marc and Louise (née Bérard) Badiou, her siblings, Joël, Jilliane (Ryan) Gobin and Daphnée (Jordan), and her precious niece Mila. She also leaves to cherish her memory her grandmother Annette Badiou (Henri); aunts and uncles, Guy (Monique) Badiou, Ronald (Jackie) Badiou, Noël Badiou (Charles), André (Henriette) Badiou, Albert (Brigitte) Badiou, Roger (Colette) Bérard, Maurice (Florence) Bérard and Norman (Colette) Bérard; as well as numerous cousins, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Robert Badiou, Fernand and Bernadette Bérard; her uncle Michel Bérard and aunt Nicole Bérard. Kasia was a beloved daughter, amazing sister, incredible aunt, and cherished granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. Family was everything to Kasia, and she was everything to us. She never missed an opportunity to spend time with family. She loved the outdoors, whether it was camping, sitting around the fire, snowmobiling, or quadding, but her favourite was farming. She was a pure country farm girl and she spent every chance she had helping on the farm and loved every minute of it. Not only was Kasia beautiful inside and out, she was also smart and motivated. Kasia was a honour student who worked hard to do her best in her school work and for her school as the president of the student council for the past two years. All her hard work was already paying off as she had recently been accepted to the Université de Saint-Boniface to pursue her science degree with a dream to become a doctor. She would have been an amazing doctor, or anything else she would have set her mind to. She had a heart of gold. Nowhere did that show itself more than when she was with her precious niece, Mila. Her outpouring love and devotion to her was a perfect image of the amazing young woman she truly was. Heaven gained a full-hearted precious angel that will forever be missed, but her memory will forever be treasured, and she will remain close to our hearts. She is now surrounded by family watching over us and playing "Crotte de Poule" with Grand-Papa. Family Prayers will be held at Adam's Funeral Home on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Eulogy and video tribute at 1:30 p.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. with Father Alain Guenou officiating. A private family interment will take place after Mass at the Notre Dame Parish Cemetery. There will be overflow seating at the Notre Dame Centennial Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Notre Dame Health Foundation (Notre Dame Hospital), Box 190, Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB R0G 1M0. Adam's Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements. Phone 204-248-2201 or 1-888-400-2326. For more information and condolences, please visit www.afh.ca

I only know Noel from this family, but it wasn't long after meeting Noel years ago that he was put on my 'top ten list ever' of the most intelligent, kind and trustworthy souls I had ever met (still true.) Sounds like Kasia also made the world a better place for more people than she probably knew. I am so sorry for you and your family's loss Noel. As a physician, one hopes for young doctors like Kasia. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Lisa LaBella (Old friend of Noel's.) on: Feb 14, 2018
