Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAURENT (LARRY) COMEAU It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Laurent (Larry) Comeau on February 15, 2018 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by his parents, Omer and Jeanne (Lavoie) Comeau; brothers, Raymond and Benoit; and sisters, Jeanine (Henri) and Lucille. He leaves to mourn his passing, brothers, André (Ruby) and Roger (Blanche); brother-in-law Charles; and sister-in-law Berthe. Also left to mourn are his many nieces and nephews, and his many friends at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43. He grew up in La Salle, surrounded by many cousins, and friends. He spent many years working for Canada Post. He was a simple man, who enjoyed the simple things in life. Being with friends and family always brought joy to his life and this was felt by everyone he met. Life was not easy for him, yet he lived his life to the fullest. With perseverance, will, and humility, he made his life what he wanted it to be. He was never one to look for a hand out, but help was always offered. Anyone who met Larry was greeted with his infectious smile and great sense of humour. He loved to laugh. He loved his bingo and fishing. His passing will leave us all a little emptier. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St., Winnipeg, MB, Father Armand Le Gal o.m.i. presiding. I am sorry to hear that Uncle Larry had passed away. He was a very happy man. I remember when we used to go to La Salle and he would play with all of his nieces and nephews in his front yard. The neighbourhood children will come by and we would have a great time playing tag. I will miss his warm and beautiful smile and his cheerful way of being Larry. Rest in Peace Uncle. You will be missed by many. - Posted by: Pat Vouriot (St. Godard) Roger and Kyle (Family) on: Feb 21, 2018
