Anne, many years have past that we were a part of each other's life. The cherished memories stored in our hearts will continue on. Tears shed now will turn into smiles of as those memories become stories shared. You will be greatly missed Anne. With love - Posted by: Sonya Kirby (Friend of family) on: Mar 07, 2018

Dear Marlene and Kenneth and all the extended family, dear little Anne will remain in our hearts forever as the most cherished of neighbours who accepted new immigrants into her heart and home as family. She cherished us as we in turn cherished her. Together Anne and I would brave the Winnipeg cold in January and drive to the Beachcomber and make believe we were sitting on a beach instead of the frozen north. We would enjoy shopping trips together. She laughed as she taught this foreigner how to make Pierogis and how I bought her a fluted pastry cutter to use instead of the plain glass she had always used. She even thought it funny when young Robert poked a hole in each and every pan ready Pierogi and said with obvious pride "look what I just did" oblivious of the fact he had just ruined an entire morning's effort! Christmas Eve has never since been the same without her laden table. She had a gentle nature and a smile a mile wide and she will be genuinely missed by all who were lucky enough to have come into contact with her. We know that she rests with angels because she surely earned her place. She is now once again beside the best mouse catcher in Middlechurch! Rest in peace my loyal friend. - Posted by: Suzanne and Jeff Whiteley (Fondest neighbours ever) on: Mar 06, 2018
