JOAO DA LUZ CORREIA April 22, 1938 - March 4, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband and father, Joao (John), on Sunday, March 4, 2018, aged 79 years. Joao was born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Maria, three sons, Paul, John and Jaimie; two brothers and two sisters. Vigil prayers will be recited on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1006 Nairn Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin St. N., Winnipeg, MB. Interment in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4001 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CancerCare Manitoba in his memory.
