Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLLOYD KUZMINSKI It is with great sadness the family of Lloyd Kuzminski announces his unexpected passing, on March 4, 2018, at St. Joseph's Personal Care Home. Lloyd grew up on a farm in East Selkirk, MB of which he had many fond memories. He loved sports, especially hockey, which he played in his younger days. He loved his Jets. He enjoyed several years as a pipe insulator until his illness took over. Lloyd battled many years with his health after his cancer diagnosis. During this entire time he faced it with a positive attitude. His last years at St. Joseph's Personal Care Home he made many friendships and enjoyed joking with the staff. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents John and Elsie, and his brother Jim. He is survived by his wife Denise; sons: Peter (granddaughter Sydney); and Paul (Debby), grandchildren Matthew, Joshua, Jenna and Ashley; sister Verna Wojik and family; brother John and family; sister-in-law Sharon and family; stepdaughter Shannon (Chris) Funk, grandchildren, Raegan and Brandon, and stepson Damion Skrumeda, as well as special friend Larry Ekosky who was a regular visitor. Special thanks to the doctors who cared for Lloyd throughout his journey - Dr. A. Maksymiuk and Dr. D. Sutherland, Dr. T. Babick, and Cancer Care Health Sciences Centre. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's. Donations may be made on Lloyd's behalf to Cancer Care Health Sciences Centre. "May you rest in eternal peace, knowing that you were loved". VICHNAYA PAMYAT Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk, MB with lunch to follow. Lloyd was a great coworker and mentor in the insulation trade when he worked for Vida Insulation. Vic always spoke very highly of Lloyd and when the job needed to get done he could always count on Lloyd. But Lloyd always had time to tell another story, even when coffee or lunch was over.
