We went up to see Tillie today and found out she had passed when we where gone away in March. At least we got a chance to visit her just before we left on our trip. I only met her a few years ago, after she had her stroke , in the Victoria Hospital where my friend also was having had a stroke. She had this wonderful smile and the best sense of humour. When I found out that she had gone into The convalescent Home of Winnipeg, my husband and I decided to visit her once a month. I told her that I was stalking her which put a smile on her face. Over the months, our visits with her where becoming more challenging. It got harder and harder for her to communicate with us. I will miss our visits. Sorry to the family for your loss. - Posted by: Debbie Derksen (friend) on: Apr 27, 2018
